Fibre optic cable in Rowlands Castle

I notice BT are laying a fibre optic cable along Redhill Road. They've done outside the village store and are marking out higher up along the Green.

Does anyone know whether we will get upgraded internet access as a result and whether it will cover the whole village?

Well done Mark! Where did you find out that it was fibre optics they were laying? They seem to be working their way down (very very slowly) Redhill Road but wasn't sure what it was for...

I asked the man in the van! It looked like fibre and he confirmed it. The line they're taking is marked out with coloured spray paint going up the left hand side of Redhill Road with what appears to be junctions. I don't know if these are for each house, I need to take a closer look.
