Roadworks at A3M Junction 2

OK - have spoken to the planning company this afternoon after finally having enough of waiting at the traffic lights and then with the elation from last weekend of thinking they had finally gone to be replaced with dismay that they were back on Monday.

Basically, it's a new entrance for the Fullers Brewery (something to do with storage / distribution?) and the traffic lights will be removed over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend and then back until the end of April. On the final week of April the official suggested "finding alternative routes" as work will be shifted to the roundabout and three way lights will be put in place.

Surprised to find out such a major development hasn't had much publicity - have I missed something? Is there planning permission somewhere for this (surely they would have needed it?)

<EDIT> After a bit of digging I found this article:
